In 2007 we had a solar generating system installed by Sun Volts
Unlimited. The system has now been in operation for almost 1 year
and we are very satisfied with it. So far, no follow-up maintenance
has been necessary. The "automatic" nature of the system
ensures that a) the batteries remain fully charged, but will "spill"
electricity back into the grid during periods of sunlight and
b) in the event of an outage, we are "automatically"
on battery power for an indefinite period. Several power outages
have occurred during our first year and often we are not aware
of this unless a neighbour phones to tell us. We feel that the
system is fully functional and would recommend it to others.

In 1997 I decided to live in the country and go off the grid.
Fortunately for me, at that time Rob Harding and his company Sun
Volts Unlimited, was not far away in North Bay.
Rob got me off and started with four solar panels and twelve batteries
in no time at all. Since then I have expanded my system first
to eight, and then finally to ten panels.
During that time Rob and his staff provided the most excellent
service. Any little problem was dealt with cheerfully and expeditiously.

I don’t normally do this sort of thing, but I did want to
give credit where it is due. I am very happy with my 12 VDC system.
You made the purchase very easy, your technician was very helpful
and friendly when he delivered the components and any contact
with Sun Volts was professional. The halogen lights work very
well and generate plenty of light. Even in the minus 25 degree
cold we have had lately, they still work well. Installation was
easy.

you installed the solar energy system for our two cottages and
garage. The job completed in May 2003.
The estimate of others to bring electricity 1.2 miles from the
nearest source exceeded Sun Volts’ cost of the solar system
by at least $16, 000. Sun Volts’ estimate proved to be precisely
correct. The solar system has been working to perfection from
the day it was installed in May by Sun Volts.
But the price of the solar system is only one of several reasons

confidence, subsequently justified, in not only your system, but
