Using your existing pump and filter, our do it yourself solar
pool heater ensures warmer pool temperatures. The Solar Pool Heater
is so versatile it can be put anywhere the sun shines. It is easily
installed on the roof of your home or pool change room, off the
deck, beside the pool or even on the ground. The pool solar panels
are the most durable and longest lasting on the market. They are
completely resistant to pool chemicals, harsh UV rays and cold
Canadian winters.
Pool water is pumped from your pool to the Solar Pool Heater
Panels. The sun's rays heat the water in the panels and then the
heated water is returned to your pool.
The solar collector panels come with a 15 year warranty against
defects, which assures you many years of worry free, low maintenance
pool heating.
Available in two standard sizes:
- Standard Panel Box 4 each 1' x 10' = 40 square foot
- Small Panel Box 4 each 1' x 8' = 32 square foot
To calculate the amount of solar panels required
to heat your pool,
use the following steps:
- Calculate the square feet of your pool
- Multiply the square feet of your pool by 50% to 60%
- this gives you the square feet of panels required
- Divide the square feet of panels required by 40 - this
tells you how many boxes of panels are required as there
are 40 square feet per box
- if you are going with the smaller panels divide by
32 not 40
- Add in a system kit
- Add in a 3 way valve or automatic controller
