The Solar Boiler is the most efficient and reliable solar water heater in the world, with fifteen years of experience in Canadian weather conditions.

The Solar Boiler uses photovoltaic solar power and solar thermal collectors to produce the cleanest, least expensive energy for hot water. Your domestic hot water energy cost can be reduced by as much as 75%. Even the pump used to circulate fluid from the solar collectors to the Solar Boiler heat exchanger is powered by the sun. The Solar Boiler is used as a pre-heater in conjunction with your conventional domestic water heater. Cold water enters the Solar Boiler where it is heated by solar energy. The heated water is then delivered to a conventional water heater - electric, oil, gas or propane fired - for final heating, if required. This operation is fully automatic throughout the entire year.

Evacuated tubes use an "all year, all weather" technology that converts infra-red rays into usable heat for heating water. They perform not only on clear sunny days, but also when the sun is low or the weather is cloudy. An evacuated tube system is simple to install and requires low maintenance.

Vacuum Tube Solar Collectors convert solar radiation into heat. They collect and transfer this energy through a collector plate and "heat-pipe" in an evacuated glass tube, to a highly insulated manifold heat exchanger.

A system consists of an array of evacuated solar tubes and insulated manifolds. The manifolds come in two sizes that will accept up to either 20 or 30 evacuated tubes. Collectors can be used individually or connected together for larger systems. The manifolds come with stainless steel supports and brackets for mounting. A solar controller regulates the operation of a small circulator.

Sizing Guide:

• Domestic Hot Water - Approximately 10 tubes for each resident
• Radiant Heating - 1-3 tubes per square feet of heating area.
  Radiant heating is recommended in combination with a "Pool or Spa" application.
• Pool - Approximately 3 tubes per 10 square feet of surface of the indoor or outdoor pool.
• Spa or Hot Tub - 30 to 60 tubes for up to 400 gallons.
